One way to enjoy Christmas for FREE at Disney Springs:  Tree Stroll

I have to say I did not have any concept of a “tree stroll” the first time my husband told me about the one at Disney Springs.  Sounded fun, but how on earth could they include trees AND crowds?

Well, they do it quite nicely!  And this year, 2025, there are some new trees AND trees in new locations as well!

First stop is to pick up your map at one of these locations:

·      City Works Eatery & Pour House

·      Crystal Arts by Arribas Brothers

·      havaianas

·      House of Blues Restaurant & Bar

·      The LEGO Store

·      The Polite Pig

You’ll notice that many of these locations are restaurants, so their opening hours may be later than the 10:00 am opening time of Disney Springs in general.  The Lego store at this time of year often has a V-E-R-Y long line just to get in, so I’d recommend choosing someplace different if you weren’t already going there to do some shopping. . . My choice is Crystal Arts by Arribas Brothers because it is a little out of the way, rarely crowded, and you can stop into Basin next door to stock up on delicious bath products!

(Psst, this year we arrived at the Springs prior to 10:00 am and happened to see the brochures stocked in the outdoor card rack near the front door of the Welcome Center/Guest Relations!)

The map brochure is printed on high quality paper and includes a page of stickers that match the theme of every tree. The inside fold-out map of the Springs has circles for the location of each tree, though the geography is sometimes questionable.  The good thing for those with little ones who want to help is that cast members do not check the “accuracy” of your map when you redeem it!

Each tree also has a label telling you the theme of the tree, including an applicable quote. There are also some trees that interact with the Magicband+, but it appeared that I had not remembered to charge mine so I was not able to create any additional magic!

Once you located all the trees and filled in the locations with the matching stickers, you can redeem your map for a surprise at the same locations where you can pick up the maps.  This year’s surprise was a nice change from the “tree stroll button” of years past.
