Six reasons why Oogie Boogie Bash is better than Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween party:
There is a low chance of a deluge or downpour of rain at the Oogie boogie bash, which would ruin your entire night for which you paid $150-200. The weather overall is so much nicer in September and October in Southern California than it is in Florida. Your Trick or Treat Candy will not melt into one lump at Oogie Boogie Bash.
The Halloween decorations in Cars Land are better than the decorations in the Magic Kingdom. The Magic Kingdom only has decorations in part of the park, and the Cars Land decorations are night are better than those on Main Street.
The Coca-Cola and the food taste better and there is a better variety of foods in California adventure
Villains Grove and Villains treat trails. There is nothing like them in the Magic Kingdom during the Mickey’s not so scary Halloween party. Villains Grove is so good you need to do it twice.

The Frightfully Fun Parade is not the same parade that you’ve seen for the last 15 years. The Frightfully Fun Parade has a better headless Horseman at the beginning, too. The Boo to You parade is so worn out, it needs some changes (at least new music). The Frightfully Fun parade music is better.

When the party is over, you don’t have to wait an hour for the monorail or the boat, you can just walk back to your hotel
Six reasons why the Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween party is better than Oogie Boogie Bash
You have fireworks on the castle. You do not get fireworks at the Oogie Boogie Bash. That also means you are not fighting with 20 thousand people for a spot in front of the castle (sorry, I was not supposed to criticize MNSSHP in this part of the blog).
The Haunted Mansion is part of your party. It, however, does not have the Nightmare Before Christmas overlay like it should (oops, there I did it again).
The Boo to You parade has more seating areas because it is longer, and more viewing areas that seem to be quieter with less people (see I was able to make one point with out pointing out a fault with MNSSHP).

There are more rides to experience with your ticket (that means way more people to crowd the park up as well).
The castle is bigger.
There is a Castle Stage show featuring Hocus Pocus and Villains as part of the party (good luck getting a spot with a good view).

So there you have it why we think Oogie Boogie Bash is better than Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. If you’ve been to both, leave a reason why you think one is better than the other.
