La Cantina de San Angel

Are you looking for a consistent comfortable place to eat when you’re in Epcot if you are, La Cantina de San Angel might be your place. I have to warn you though it is much better for lunch than for dinner. On most days, the wait line for La Cantina is short.  La Cantina has many interesting things on the menu as well. They have Barbacoa tacos, chicken tacos, shrimp, tacos, nachos, and empanadas. My family is not much into shrimp tacos, but we love the chicken and Barbacoa tacos. We’ve often had the nachos and have loved it as well.

Here’s the real secret when you eat lunch at Cantina de San Angel— you can eat in the inside of the table service Hacienda de San Angel restaurant.  The indoor seating has semicircle booths for 6 to 8 people. They also have large tables if your group is more than 10 people.  Just walk beyond the the order stations, and there’s a door just beyond on the left to the indoor seating area.

Other nice advantages of La Cantina are that Large drinks are always on the menu, as well as a churro sundae and mini churros with chocolate dipping sauce.

And you can’t beat the view—world, showcase lagoon, surrounded by international lands of Germany, Italy, Japan, United States
