A day at a theme park is usually filled with exhilarating rides, fun for fall, and unfortunately, mediocre food. That is not the case for those who choose to visit the Satu’li Canteen at Disney’s Animal Kingdom! Tucked away in the corner of Pandora - The Land of Avatar, this quick service restaurant will offer you all of the benefits of theme park immersion while offering delicious, filling, and healthy meals. With plenty of outdoor and indoor seating, you can rest from your travails and enjoy your meal in your preferred environment.

One of the best things about the Satu’li Canteen is the variety it offers in its menu. My personal favorite entrée is the Chimichurri Beef and Chopped Wood-grilled Chicken bowl. Other bowls combine the beef or chicken with Chili-Garlic Shrimp, or you can get a bowl with just one protein. All bowls come with a side of Crunchy Vegetable Slaw and Boba Balls with your choice of Base and Sauce. My personal favorite base is the Sweet Potato Hash, but you can also choose Rice and Beans, Noodles, or a Salad. You simply can’t go wrong with the Creamy Herb Sauce!

Of course, everybody loves dessert, and this is where the Satu’li Canteen truly shines. We love to get the Metkayina Mousse, which is chocolate mousse with raspberry gelée inside of a chocolate cake, with a milk and white chocolate garnish. If chocolate doesn’t speak to you, you may enjoy the Blueberry Cream Cheese Mousse with Passion Fruit Curd. And you can enjoy both entrées and desserts alike with a Pandoran Sunrise, a delicious drink made from Pineapple juice, limeade, Powerade Melon and Powerade Fruit Punch.
